I started photography in childhood with my uncle’s Zenit E. Onwards I shot analogues with handy Nikons, and rented Hasselblad 500 C/M and Sinar F for large format perspective displacement photographies with a Copal shutter (in the background) always superior gear to any modern digital.
My moving picture experience mainly explored live story telling productions with dad; Light, Camera, … ACTION.
Photography is not a form of art but skill and perspectives. Capturing a moment in reality is not a creation.
Creation is setting ‘em all up, not waiting for it to show up. From Dalí Atomicus to the golden hour of microclimates.
Carry an extra eye to frame a perspective, tell a story, one that if creates pause, draws more eyes; explorative eyes, thoughtful eyes, judgmental eyes …
Jutland
Northern Denmark is landscaped with sand dunes and bent trees. From surfers around Thy national park to swimmers of calm Hirtshal, they all go for the sunsets of this west coast. The lighthouse in Skagen cuts the sea in two colors. The summer is chill around here, just as you witness the sunset, it would not be long to see it rise from the same spot.
